And still interested
Hello Digital,
I am very interested in helping get your organisation off the ground and back into full swing. I do have some spare time after work to help plan and organise things, although I must admit my local knowledge of Almaty is extremely lacking as I have been here but a short time and my information is limited to the pitiful and out of date references in the Lonely Planet guidebook.
I wonder if there are formerly active HHH members who would be up for a revival, and if has there been any interest expressed by other newcomers to Almaty?
I am not much of a website administrator but I would be certainly willing to give it a go, with some guidance from yourself on what exactly happens at HHH functions, where the cool places to go are, and basically how to get everyone together.
I would be happy to meet you for a beer and a talk. This weekend is not good as I shall be Kyrgyzstan, but anytime after that I am free.
We could dream up some sort of revival event which might spur some new interest and advertise it around the Almaty expat site with a link to your HHH site after the site has been updated and cleaned up a little bit. This is a cool site but a lot of the info and threads are so old that they might scare people away.
Anyway, what are your thoughts about all of this?
